Katie Price allegedly attempted to seduce I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’s Declan Donnelly, according to his co-host Ant McPartlin.
Former glamour model and media personality Price may be best known for her jungle love story with British-Australian singer Peter Andre, however, it turns out she may have originally had her eye on a very different cast member in the beginning.
That’s according to co-host Ant McPartlin anyway.

The revelation was published in the presenting duo’s 2009 autobiography Ooh! What A Lovely Pair in which McPartlin claimed that Price had attempted to seduce his co-star, Declan Donnelly, during the wrap party for the 2004 series.
In the book, McPartlin, 48, recalled how the now 46-year-old model had made her interest towards Donnelly, 49, clear.
“The other thing I remember from that party is doing shots with Kerry [Katona], and Jordan [Price’s former glamour model alter-ego] chasing after Dec, who she had propositioned during her departure interview,” he wrote.
McPartlin then went on to claim that even after his friend and co-host had rejected Price’s advances, her mother had ‘cornered’ him and asked about a potential romance with her daughter.
“He managed to avoid her all night, but her mum did corner him a couple of times and try to set him up with her. He wasn’t having any of it,” he added.
After facing rejection from the TV presenter, Price went on to solidify her relationship with Andre and the rest, as they say, is history.

Prior to making her entrance in the ITV jungle, the model had been in a relationship with Scott Sullivan, however, the pair would eventually split up after she grew close to singer Andre in the jungle.
Price would later go on to wed the ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer in a lavish wedding in 2005, going on to welcome two children together before going through a high-profile divorce four years later.
Andre would go on to find love with doctor Emily MacDonagh, while price would go on to re-marry two more times in the following years, to Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.
Despite going their separate ways in 2009, Price and Andre remain one of the show’s biggest romance stories, with the singer even referring to their children Junior and Princess as the show’s only ‘jungle babies’ in a This Morning interview last year.

Female I’m a Celebrity stars slam ‘cringe’ shower scenes as ITV confirm if they will be shown this season or not
Don’t expect to see any steamy shower moments on your screens this year

Several stars from the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here 2024 line-up have shared their thoughts on the show’s infamous shower scenes.
For those unaware with this particular piece of jungle history, the I’m a Celebrity… jungle shower became notorious back in 2006 when singer and TV show host Myleene Klass stepped under the cold water in a white bikini and left thirsty viewers up and down the nation gobsmacked by the sight.

Despite the fact that Klass was just a woman in a swimming costume taking a shower, the moment has remained a key moment in I’m a Celebrity… lore, with ‘bikini’ coming up as one of the suggestions when you type the now 46-year-old’s name into Google.
Plenty of other celebrities have since attempted to cash in on the moment over the following years, with the likes of Katie Price and even Nigel Farage stripping off for the shower.
However, the world has since moved on and several of the I’m a Celebrity… 2024 stars have now shared their thoughts on the situation – with one even branding the idea ‘cringy’.
Speaking about their shower plans in an interview with The Mirror ahead of her jungle stint, N-Dubz singer and former X-Factor judge Tulisa revealed she thought that playing up to the cameras while in the shower was ‘mad cringy’.
“If you overdo it, it just feels mad cringy to me. I don’t feel like Myleene, years ago, had that in mind,” the 36-year-old explained, adding that she would only be taking black bikinis into the jungle.

Ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional Mabuse was in agreement when it came to the shower situation, adding: “I don’t intend on being that gal in the papers. That’s not me. I’m probably going to wear a full blown out costume with some trousers.”
Meanwhile, GK Barry appears to be taking a more relaxed approach to the shower situation despite speaking to ITV bosses about the particular moment. “They said to me that they don’t really do that anymore,” the podcaster, whose real name is Grace, revealed.
However, the 25-year-old did add that she had packed a handful of bikinis for the shower, just in case.
The three women’s sentiments were echoed by I’m a Celebrity… producer Olly Nash, who added: “It’s funny, they have all asked about that this year, but most people just cover themselves up. And it’s absolutely changed.
“I think the whole world has changed, hasn’t it A lot over the years, and people are less likely to get in there and want to flaunt themselves.”

Katie Price praised for how she reacted when son Harvey said ‘c*nt’ on live TV

Katie Price praised for how she reacted when son Harvey said ‘c*nt’ on live TV
It’s nearly been eight years since Harvey dropped the C word on live TV

“Hello you _” – I bet you finished that off in your head. It’s an infamous phase.
Harvey Price said ‘c*nt’ on live TV over seven whole years ago now and life has never been the same since.
The then 13-year-old was appearing on Loose Women with his mum, Katie Price, to talk about the vile online abuse he often received.
But, as is the beauty of live TV, Harvey unexpectedly dropped the C bomb.
Watch the moment from 2016 here:
When he was born, the eldest of Katie’s kids was diagnosed with the rare septo-optic dysplasia, which is a disorder of early brain development.
He also has blindness, is on the autistic spectrum and suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome, which causes a wide range of physical symptoms, learning difficulties and behavioural challenges.
During the ITV appearance Harvey was asked what he’d say to trolls – ‘hello’.
Katie then clarified this, and said: “If someone says something horrible to Harvey, what does Harvey say?”
And the lad simply responded: “Hello you c*nt.”
It’s an unforgettable TV moment.
ITV
An apology was obviously issued for this and over the years, the former glamour model mum has been praised for the way she dealt with it.
Reddit users mentioned the incident in the comments of a Reddit thread of ‘most awkward live television moments’ and one wrote: “That was amazing, Katie Price handled it really well I thought.”
Viewers at the time and since have praised Harvey too, saying it’s ‘probably the best response he could say to trolls’.
Others say the lad ‘is an icon’ and that he gave ‘absolutely the right answer, just not on national daytime telly’.
Another added: “What a legend.”

After the whole thing that lead to years of memes, Katie told Rylan on his 2016 Up Late With Rylan show that she reckoned her son planned it.
“He must have planned it in his head,” she said. “Before we went on air I said, Harvey no swearing, and he said ‘yes mummy’.”
The mum-of-five also claimed the team asked if she’d like to do the interview pre-recorded but she declined.
“I don’t want to hide who he is,” she said. “I promised he wouldn’t swear, I just can’t believe it.”
And it wasn’t the last time he did it, Harvey went on to swear the odd time on live TV, dropping the f-bomb on Good Morning Britain in 2021.

I’m A Celebrity pay rule if a contestant leaves early as Jamie Lynn Spears quits show

So, Jamie Lynn Spear is the next star to leave the jungle in this year’s I’m a Celeb…
The singer follows in Grace Dent’s footsteps after she quit a couple of days ago on medical grounds.
Her departure appears to have been brewing for a while, with Spears visibly upset in camp, seemingly struggling with the harsh conditions. Which is understandable.
And in a statement, a spokesperson praised Spears for her performance but said she also had to leave the show for health reasons.
“Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds,” the statement read.
“She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”

Now, following the two stars’ departures, the question has been raised over what it means for their pay packet.
This year, former MEP and raving Brexiteer, Nigel Farage, will reportedly take home £1.5 million for appearing on the show.
ITV tends keep its cards close to its chest when it comes to exact fees, but it’s safe to assume they’re not eating kangaroo b*****ks for free, isn’t it?
But what happens if celebs leave the show before being voted out?
Well, according to the Mirror, contestants must stay in the jungle for at least 72-hours to be given their fee in full and if someone leaves before that point then their pay cheque will be cut.
So with Dent and Spears lasting less than two weeks in the jungle, it appears that they would still be entitled to the full fee.

However, one celeb who didn’t get their full fee due to the pretty hard and fast rule was The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins when she quit the show after only three days, back in 2014.
At the time, it was rumoured Collins had been been offered £100,000 for her stint in the jungle, but a representative for the star later revealed that she didn’t actually get it.
Speaking following her departure, the rep confirmed: “I can confirm that the £4,800 fee was the full and final fee that Gemma received for her participation in last year’s I’m A Celebrity.
“The show is three weeks long and Gemma was in Australia for five days, therefore she will receive a percentage based on that.”
The star opted to donate the money in full to Save The Children.

The next King of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle is due to be crowned this evening – and after the coronation, comes the celebration.
On Sunday night, (10 December) either Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, 41-year-old Tony Bellew or ex-politician Nigel Farage will be voted as the winner of I’m A Celebrity 2023.
This series has featured everything – from explosive arguments to heartbreaking admissions, campmates allegedly eating paninis and early show exits.
But, of course, it all boils down to the final vote.
Regardless of whether Thompson, former boxer Bellew or 59-year-old Farage is bestowed with the title of jungle monarch, all three are expected to celebrate their achievements at the I’m A Celeb after-party.
Not a lot is known about this year’s official wrap festivities, however, snapshots from recent years could point to what the celebrities can expect to experience.
Last year, Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott stepped out alongside series 22 contestants Matt Hancock, Boy George and Scarlette Douglas in Queensland, Australia.
After scrubbing off that jungle muck, the group headed to a boozy after-party at a hotel, where they ate seafood and celebrated surviving the dreaded Bushtucker Trials.

Following last season’s party, Charlene White took to Instagram and wrote: “Last one standing after a food and wine-filled night with all the campmates, family & friends.”
On her Instagram Stories, she hinted that she and 45-year-old Tindall’s wife Zara experienced an alcohol-fuelled night together.
Uploading a picture of her and the equestrian, she wrote in overlay text: “Hazy memories from last night’s @imacelebrity wrap party…twinning with @zara_tindall.”
In another update, the Loose Women star also paid tribute to the former rugby union player.
She posted a video of Mike making a speech at the wrap party and claimed that she would ‘never have survived the early days of camp without him’.

She wrote: “His song lyrics knowledge is off the scale, his banter is top-tier, and he’s just incredibly kind and caring.
“And gives THE best hugs. I’m looking forward to seeing you back at our @loosewomen studio soon Vanilla Mike”
In previous years, Wayne Bridge and Ant McPartlin have posed for a sweet selfie together on the dance floor, while Jordan Banjo spent his freedom Down Under meeting up with Kiosk Kieth.
Strictly Come Dancing’s Adam Thomas celebrated leaving the I’m A Celeb jungle by chowing down on a McDonalds feast with his son in bed.

Posting to Instagram, he wrote: “Finally back with my boy and @caz_daly couldn’t be any more happier… Now time to eat what I want when I want!! Thanks again people.”
We have our eyes peeled for behind-the-scenes photographs and videos from this year’s wrap party.
