A man’s photograph has been gaining traction on the internet as he managed to capture a unique phenomenon while climbing a mountain to celebrate the start of the new year.
Rhys Pleming, an avid hiker, chose to kick off January 1 by conquering Snowdon, the tallest mountain in England and Wales.
He intended to capture the initial sunrise of the decade with his friend, but he never could have predicted what they would end up experiencing.
Rhys not only had the opportunity to witness the sunrise, but he also had the privilege of seeing the extremely rare phenomenon known as the Broken spectre.
