Mom angry after finding teacher’s ‘warning’ message on her 7-year-old daughter’s homework

A mom posted her 7-year-old daughter’s school paper online, and people got really upset about what the teacher wrote on it. The teacher told the girl, Alyssa, not to use cursive writing.

Her teacher kept telling her not to write her name in cursive, but she just wouldn’t listen!

Lots of people think that even though not all schools focus on cursive writing, it still requires effort and practice to get good at it, so Alyssa should have been commended for using cursive instead of being told not to.

Teachers should be respected, but it doesn’t seem fair to stop Alyssa from practicing cursive.

Teachers should provide helpful feedback instead of writing negative messages to students who want to excel in this complex skill.

They ought to appreciate the effort the child puts into learning cursive and give them encouragement. While it’s not always talked about, cursive is valuable for kids to learn.

What do you think about this? How would you feel if your kid couldn’t write in cursive?
