I Met My Ex-fiancé Who Dumped Me Because I ‘Wasn’t Good Enough’ – He Was on a Date & My Revenge Was Hard

My name is Nikki, and I have a story to tell about how sometimes karma needs a little push. One night, I turned an ordinary evening into the perfect chance for payback when I spotted my ex-fiancé, Mark, dining at a fancy restaurant with another woman.

Five years ago, Mark ended our engagement. He told me I “wasn’t good enough” after he got promoted and wanted someone who was more sophisticated. It was really painful, but I moved on.

Last Saturday feels like a blur now. Mark, who is 35 and still single, seems to be doing great. I spotted him at a new restaurant and thought it would be fun to pull a little prank. I asked the waiter to bring over a bottle of champagne with a label that said, “To Mark, who always goes for second best.” His date looked confused, and Mark’s face turned bright red!

He has an allergy to appetizers, so I decided to send one with a note that said, “Just a little reminder of what you can’t eat.” Mark struggled to explain this to his increasingly upset date.

I called my friend Sarah for the final act. “How’s your fiancée?” she shouted, acting like she knew Mark. “Did she finally agree to the open relationship?” Clara, who was with Mark, was shocked and just walked off.

I found myself walking over to Mark’s table and flashing him a big smile. “Hey Mark, looks like I’m not as ‘not good enough’ as I thought!” Feeling proud, I strolled out of the restaurant.

A few days later, I found out that Clara and Mark had broken up. I guess getting back at someone can feel good, especially if it makes them feel a bit embarrassed. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
